The Wolf Administration announced 3/26/18 work is scheduled to begin next week on a project to repair and resurface Easton Avenue in Bethlehem Township, Northampton County.

Easton Avenue will be milled and resurfaced between the Willow Park and Farmersville roads. This section of road has an average daily traffic volume that varies between 11,637 and 16,617 vehicles.
Starting Monday (April 2) and lasting throughout the duration of the project, motorists should be alert for lane restrictions weekdays between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM. Updates will be provided whenever schedules change.

Under this improvement project, the contractor will mill off the existing roadway surface and repave the state highways with new asphalt. The new pavement will seal the roadways and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface. The project also includes updating guiderail, repairing drainage inlets and installing new Americans with Disabilities Act compliant curb ramps.

Hanson Aggregates Pennsylvania LLC of Allentown, PA is the general contractor on the $642,936 project, which is expected to be complete in June.
