Critical Incident Involving Weapons 
Today, approximately 4 pm, we responded to the 300 block of Belleview Drive, for the report of a disturbance involving weapons. Officers arrived and started speaking with the subjects involved. While speaking with the subjects, officers witnessed them throw weapons (knife and bat) at each other. It was evident one of them was having a mental health crisis. We deployed various resources including officers trained in crisis intervention.
The incident continued and our Tactical Operations Team responded to relieve our patrol staff. After several hours of negotiations, our staff was able to successfully arrest both subjects.
Based on the sensitivity of this investigation limited information will be released beyond these details.
