In October the Millstadt Police Department began to investigate an allegation of criminal sexual abuse. Upon a complete and thorough investigation, the case was submitted to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office. On March 15th warrants were obtained charging the suspect. The defendant, Kristopher C. Howell age 56 of Millstadt, was charged by the state’s attorney’s office with three counts of Criminal Sexual Abuse; a Class 4 Criminal Felony. He was taken into custody later that day. His bond was set at $75,000.
