...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 7 PM
CDT SATURDAY...
* WHAT...Heavy snow is expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to
7 inches are expected. Highest amounts are expected over
southwest portions of the county.
* WHERE...Grundy County.
* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 7 PM CDT Saturday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The snow is expected to be wet and heavy,
which will allow it to efficiently accumulate on trees and power
lines. Wind gusts to 35 mph could cause tree branches to fall,
possibly leading to some isolated power outages. Also, the heavy
wet nature of the snow can be hazardous to shovel for some. Plan
on difficult travel conditions. Be prepared for significant
reductions in visibility at times.
