#038 Shoplifting
Officers were dispatched to the Target store at the Fremont Hub where a lone female was being held by security for stealing merchandise.  As it turned out the woman was on probation multiple times for petty theft and had three active misdemeanor warrants.  Officer T. Davis provided Fremont the 53 year old female with a ride to Santa Rita Jail.  Fremont’s Jail is closed this week for annual maintenance, cleaning and training.
 
#003 Commercial Burglary 
Security observed, via video surveillance, two males break into a business located in the 7600 block of Dumbarton Circle and leave with two large items they stole from the business. The suspects were only described as two males #1 wearing a black or dark hoody and #2 wearing a black jacket with a hood and blue jeans. The suspects fled in a white colored van onto Dumbarton Circle. Case investigated by Officer Dennis.
 
#004 DUI/Possession of Narcotics
At 3:17 a.m., officers were dispatched to two subjects passed out in a running vehicle which was parked in the middle of the parking lot at the Estates at Park Place.  Officer Samayoa contacts the male driver and quickly determines that he is under the influence of alcohol. The male driver is arrested for DUI and possession of narcotics.  Case investigated by Officer Samayoa.
 
#005 Drunk in Public
At 4:27 a.m., a call initially came in that a male had been stabbed near Fremont Blvd/Central Ave.  The male was picked up by his friends and transported to a local hospital, while FPD officers provided an escort. Once at the hospital it was determined that no stabbing had taken place, however the male was extremely uncooperative and highly intoxicated.  He was belligerent and was screaming and threatening the medical staff at the hospital.  The 28 year old male had sustained a laceration to his face and once he was medically cleared, Officer Cordero provided him with a courtesy shuttle to Santa Rita Jail where he was booked for public intoxication.

4 Auto Burglaries:
4600 blk of Montmartre Park Ct  – Loss of work tools.
4600 blk of Kane Ct – Loss of work tools.
41100 blk of Ellen St – Lock cut to gain entry into a work truck, no loss.
47000 blk of Warm Springs Bl – Window smash, loss of personal items.

#030 Hit and Run Collision
Traffic Officer Burch began a vehicle vs. bike accident investigation.  The injuries were minor, but the suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.  Further follow up will be completed by the traffic unit.
 
#024 Grand Theft
At 6:12 p.m., officers investigated the theft of an iPhone X that was stolen from the Verizon store located at the Fremont Hub.  The suspect was described as black male adult wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, skinny jeans and black shoes. 

#033 & 034 Auto Burglaries
At 10:42 p.m., two separate vehicle burglaries were reported in the parking lot of Olive Garden at the Mowry East Center. Passenger windows were shattered and a black duffle bag was removed from one vehicle and a purse from the other.  The incidents occurred between 7:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.  No suspect information at this time.

#017 Side Show/Street Racing Activity 
At 10:57 p.m., side show activity was reported in the area of Lakeview Blvd and Lakeview Ct. Numerous callers reported approximately 50 racers driving reckless and doing donuts in the industrial area. Once Officers arrived on scene the vehicles dispersed and headed northbound I880. One vehicle was disabled and left abandoned, Officer LaStrape towed the vehicle.
 
#001 Hit and Run Property Damage and DUI
A vehicle crashed into several parked cars in the Suju’s parking lot on Stevenson Blvd. The driver and another passenger immediately fled the vehicle on foot and were located nearby. The driver was ultimately arrested for DUI and Hit and Run. Case investigated by Officer K. Samayoa.

Auto Burglary
Officers were dispatched to Panera at Pacific Commons on a report of an auto burglary that just occurred.  Suspect was a black male adult wearing dark clothing, in a black BMW 6 series with something covering the rear plate. 

#033 Under the Influence
At 5:43 p.m., two reporting parties called stating a blue vehicle was stopped in the roadway on Paseo Padre Pkwy near Thornton Ave and it appeared the driver was passed out. Officer Lobue arrives and quickly determines the driver is under the influence of something illegal not to be ingested while driving a car. Arrested was a 32 year old Fremont resident for being under the influence.  He was booked at Santa Rita.
 
#035 & 038 Felony Evading a Peace Officer and Resisting Arrest
Traffic Officer Snow attempted to stop a car near the area of Liberty and Walnut for improper use of high-beam headlights. The vehicle took off at a high rate of speed and would not yield to the emergency vehicle. No pursuit was initiated. Officer Snow advised over the radio what just transpired and a few officers attempt to locate the car. Sgt. McCormick locates the car parked near the 4000 block of Stevenson.  The vehicle is occupied by four.   Three of the occupants including the driver bail on foot from the car. An 18 year old male stuck around and was detained. Turns out he had warrants and gets arrested. Now officers flood the area searching for the other three. Sgt. Ehling sees a male fleeing on the frontage road of Stevenson at Bescoe.  He detains the 19 year old male and he is arrested for obstructing/resisting. Officer Macciola discovers the plate on the car actually had a very local address and goes to a nearby apartment in the complex where they fled on foot.  The residents (parents) allow the officers in and during a search of the young man’s bedroom, a BB gun modified to look like a real firearm was located.  Officers continue to locate their 18 year old son and juvenile girlfriend, both of whom fled from the car. At an address on Bliss Ct. they are located and arrested without incident. The female juvenile was determined to be a missing person from Stockton and was placed with Alameda County Child Protective Services.  
 
#001 Estes Robbery
Officer LaStrape was dispatched to Safeway Warm Springs for a reported Estes robbery that occurred.  A female suspect committed a petty theft and then battered two different employees as she attempted to flee with the items. The 23 year old was located by Officer Catassi just south of the Warm Springs BART station in the 46800 block of Warm Springs Blvd. and arrested her for robbery. Case investigated by Officer LaStrape.

#008 Possession of Stolen Property and Grand Theft
At 7:43 a.m., Officer Ramirez and FTO Kwok investigated the theft of copper wire from a job site on Albrae St. and obtained a suspect vehicle license plate.  The suspect vehicle was entered into the stolen vehicle system with a felony want for commercial burglary.  A few hours later, Officer Egan and FTO Smith located the suspect vehicle at the Garden Village Apartments and detained two occupants in the vehicle.  Officer Ramirez responded and arrested both parties, a 44 year old male and a 63 year old male, for possession of stolen property and grand theft.

#019, #023 Road Rage
Officers responded to the area of Warm Springs Safeway regarding the possible brandishing of a handgun during a road rage incident.  The possible suspect with the gun was located at the Circle K at Osgood/Automall.  No handgun was located during a search of his vehicle but 13.8 grams of methamphetamine was found.  The 37 year old adult male was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.  The original reporting party was eventually located by CHP and stopped at Via San Dimas/ Via San Carlos.  The brandishing of a handgun was unfounded and the case was documented as a road rage incident.

Auto Burglaries:
42200 Albrae St. – Back passenger window shattered, loss is $2100 in property.
Blaisdell Way – No sign of forced entry.  A DVD player/radio was taken.
44000 Osgood Rd – Window smash, no reported loss.
43900 block of Hugo Tr. – Window smash, loss was a black back pack and credit cards
4500 Auto Mall Pkwy - Occurred between 12:15 and 3:40 p.m.  The window was broken and loss has not been determined. 
4500 Auto Mall Pkwy - Occurred between 12:00 and 1:44 p.m.  The window was broken and loss included a laptop, iPhone 6 and victim’s CDL. 

#029 Residential Burglary
Occurred on the 4700 block of Seneca Park Ave between 7:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.   Unknown suspect(s) entered the residence after forcing the side door open.  The bedrooms were ransacked and a laptop and iPad were stolen.  Investigated by CSO Tsai.

#030 Residential burglary
Occurred on the 200 block of Traminer Ct between 12:23 and 12:29 p.m.  Suspect(s) entered the residence after breaking a dual pane glass on a French door.  The suspects open 2-drawers in the master bedroom and then fled when they heard the audible alarm.  Investigated by Officer Manrique.

#051 Grand Theft  
Two suspects entered the Ulta Store at Pacific Commons and stole various bottle of perfume valued at $1336.00.
Suspect #1: Hispanic female in her early 20s with long black hair wearing glasses, a green jacket, and black pants.
Suspect #2: Hispanic female in her early 20s with long black hair wearing a black long sleeve shirt, and torn blue jeans.
Suspect Vehicle: 4 door approximately 2008 Silver Honda Civic. 

#003 DUI Collision
Officer Berrier was on patrol and happened upon a single vehicle non-injury collision at Stevenson Bl/Albrae St.  He arrested the male driver for DUI.

#001 Vehicle Arson
At 11:35 p.m., Officer Godrich was dispatched to the 48000 block of Purpleleaf St. on the report of a vehicle tire on fire.  A resident out for an evening walk found a Nissan SUV on fire.  Upon arrival, Fremont Fire was on scene and the fire had been extinguished by a resident.  There was evidence at the scene that the fire was intentionally set.  Damage was limited to the tire.  There was no witness and no suspect information. CSI O’Neal processed the scene for evidence and the case was referred to Investigations for follow up.
