Heavy rain is expected in the Los Angeles Area begining tonight through Friday morning.  With the possiblity of 1-4 inches of rain there is a chance of localized flooding in the area.  The City of Commerce will be distributing sand bags tonight from 4pm - 8pm at the rear of the  North Annex building located at 5550 Harbor st.  There is a limit of 10  sandbags per Commerce household or business.  Resisents must show their current Residents Card or ID with a City of Commerce address. Businesses must show a valid City Business Licience. 

Empty sand bags will also be available to replace weathered sand bags you have at your homes or business.
