Winter weather expected to have a significant impact on our area. 
Please prepare ahead of time in order to limit travels during the snowstorm. A friendly reminder for everyone to clear sidewalks, fire hydrants and remove their vehicles from the roadways. This will facilitate snow clean up and allow us to safely reach your home in case of an emergency. Helmetta DPW will be actively removing the snow. This storm is expected to bring heavy snow. Please be aware of falling trees, wires, etc.. As with any major storm, there is a potential for power outages.
