NWSWinter storm warning is in effect statewide from Tues. eve thru Thurs morn as heavy snow is in the forecast. 12"-15" possible Snowfall.

A winter storm warning is in effect statewide from Tuesday evening through Thursday morning as heavy snow is in the forecast. Precipitation will begin as rain or a wintry mix for most locations today, changing to snow overnight, with snow statewide on Wednesday. A coastal flood warning and coastal flood advisories are effective Tuesday through Thursday for tidal locations.
IMPACTS TO NEW JERSEY:
Mixed precipitation may create slippery conditions on roads, bridges, overpasses, sidewalks, and any untreated surfaces Tuesday. On Wednesday, a heavy wet snow may impact trees and power lines. Snowfall rates of over 1" per hour at times. Localized minor to moderate coastal flooding is possible during Tuesday and Wednesday high tides.
