The East Side Sewer Relief Project on Whitman Boulevard has progressed to the south intersection of Whitman Boulevard and Canterbury Intersection (near Stafford Dr.) The full closure of this intersection will take place Wednesday morning at 7:00am, but expect long delays in this area today due to the close proximity of the excavation and heavy equipment movements. Today, special accommodations will be made for school busses and emergency vehicles. Tomorrow, March 21st, 2018 this intersection will be completely closed with no pass through traffic.
Watch out for slow-moving heavy construction vehicles that operate on Gulf Road between the Waste Water Plant and Whitman Boulevard.
