The East Side Sewer Relief Project on East Avenue has progressed to the Howe Street intersection. There will be no pass through traffic permitted between Howe Street and George Street this week. Gates Avenue and all streets north on East Avenue are now open.
The residents in the East Avenue Sewer Relief Project work zone will be notified daily as to how they can access their driveways.
Drivers should use the detour routes for East Avenue of Middle Avenue and East River Street. The detour routes are posted.
