Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Hate Crime Section detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person or people who damaged a religious statue in Port Jefferson Station.
A Virgin Mary statue was damaged at Church of Saint Gerard Majella, located at 300 Terryville Road, sometime between March 16 and March 18. The incident is being investigated as a Criminal Mischief 3^rd Degree as a Hate Crime.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about these incidents can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and your message to “CRIMES” (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com.
