Nature of Incident: Suspect Arrested for Assault and Criminal Threats Report Number: 18-40080 Location: 2900 Block Petit Street, Camarillo Date & Time: 03/12/18 at approximately 2030 hours Unit(s) Responsible: Camarillo Police Department (S)uspects, (V)ictims, (P)arty, (D)ecedent City of Residence Age (A-1) Justin Haggard (V) Female Charges: 245(a) PC- Assault W/ Deadly Weapon, Transient Ventura County 422 PC-Criminal Threats 40 21 Narrative: Camarillo Patrol Deputies arrested Justin Haggard for Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Criminal Threats towards a local hotel employee. On 3-12-18, Haggard entered the lobby of a hotel in the 2900 block of Petit Street in the City of Camarillo. He asked the receptionist for a cup of coffee and when the receptionist told Haggard she did not have any, he became agitated. Haggard picked up an object from the hotel’s counter and threw it at the receptionist’s face. The item struck the receptionist, causing minor injury. As he fled the location, Haggard threatened to return and harm the receptionist. The incident was captured on video surveillance. Camarillo Detectives and Patrol Deputies were able to identify Haggard from prior contacts with him. Patrol deputies located and arrested Haggard on 3-14-18. He was booked into jail without incident.
