The Fairfield Police Department is currently investigating a double shooting. Both shooting victims were taken to a local hospital from the scene of the shooting by private parties. The victims are both adult males suffering from what does not appear to be life threatening injuries at this time. There are early indications this is not a random act and there is no immediate danger to the public.
The shooting possibly occured in the area of Flamingo and San Marco Street at approximately 4 pm.
