Egg Hunt - The Third Annual Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Lawrence Township Police Department, will be held Saturday, March 24, at 11:00 am in Central Park on Eggert Crossing Road. See flyer for more details.



Green Fest - Saturday, March 17:  The Environmental Resources and Sustainabilty Green Advisory Committee is co-sponsoring the Green Fest at Rider University.  It is this Saturday, March 17 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m..  Enjoy live entertainment for all ages, a farmer’s market, local fresh food at our lunch cafĂ©, demonstrations.  Visitors can learn about a variety of sustainability issues and exciting community projects such as bike trails, food waste recycling programs, energy efficiency, electric vehicles, health, exercise and wellness, and robotics projects from area schools and groups. Memorial Day Parade
Lawrence Township’s annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018.  You can thank our veterans and display community pride by taking part in the 2018 Memorial Day Parade. We invite Lawrence Township clubs, teams, youth groups, schools, non-profit organizations, drumlines, bands, classic cars and most importantly all Lawrence Township Veterans to join us by marching in this year’s parade.
 
The parade will assemble in the Lawrence High School parking lot at 9:00 a.m. and step off at 10:00 a.m. to follow Princeton Pike North to Darrah Lane and finish in Lawrence Veterans Park.  At the conclusion of the parade, a Memorial Service and Ceremony will be conducted in the Park.

Dog License Renewal  -   Late fees will now be assessed for those who have not registered their dog(s).  All dogs seven months and older must be licensed. Please click here for the dog licensing application. If you have any questions or need more information, please call the Clerk's Office at 609-844-7000.



Road Work

  • Route #1 Delays - Please be aware that you may encounter delays along US Route #1 travelling south between Nassau Park Blvd. and Quakerbridge Mall. Recent weather has post-poned start date.
  • Route #1 Finishing touches are progressing on this project.   The circle is now open at Route #1 and Whitehead Road.  The construction project is still ongoing - please continue to use caution in this area.

 

Brush must not be placed at the curb for pick-up earlier than the weekend prior to your designated pick-up week.

The week of March 19 is Zone 3.  If you are unsure of your designated zone for your property, you may check the On-Line Property search on Township website at www.lawrencetwp.com.

Material should be placed in an area on the street not greater than four feet (4’) from the edge of the pavement.  Trees greater than an 8-inch caliper may not be disposed of through curbside collection.  Materials shall not be piled greater than three (3’) in height.  Once the truck has collected your street, they will not return until the next month’s collection.
