Board of Water Supply (BWS) crews restored water service by 6:30 p.m. to the 63 customers who lost service when the 8-inch main broke last night on Manaiki Pl.
There is still only one lane open on Kalihi St. at the intersection of Manaiki Pl., as work continues to repair the road. Special duty police are helping to alternately contraflow traffic to allow residents to enter and exit Kalihi Valley. Motorists are reminded to anticipate traffic slow downs and asked to please drive with extra caution. Road repair is expected to continue throughout the night.
A final update will be issued when the road is re-opened.
