An alert citizen contacted SVPD to report she was following a possible DUI driver who had just committed a Hit & Run. The driver continued E/B on LA Ave., toward Yosemite Ave. weaving in and out of traffic at approx. 25 mph. The vehicle subsequently stopped in the area of Katherine Rd. and Christine Ave. Upon contact with the driver by Officers, he was found to be extremely intoxicated. The subsequent investigation resulted in the driver being arrested for 23152 a VC (DUI), 20002 a VC (Hit & Run) and 148 a PC (Resisting or Delaying and Officer). He was identified as Sardara Singh Brar (56 yrs. ) This is a great example of citizens getting involved.
