The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Recruitment Team will attend the 2018 Los Angeles Marathon Fitness Expo to showcase employment opportunities and careers being offered. On March 5, 2018, the Sheriff’s Office began accepting applications for Deputy Sheriff Trainee. For those who apply we will be hosting two test dates, one in May and another in June. As a Ventura County Deputy Sheriff you can enjoy a variety of assignments that include patrol, detectives, S.W.A.T., narcotics, gang enforcement, traffic, and the Sheriff’s Air Unit to name just a few. Salary and benefits for deputy sheriff can be as much as $112,098 annually! In addition to deputy sheriff, we are also hiring regularly for public safety dispatchers, sheriff’s service technicians, forensic scientists, and records technicians.
