Traffic stop leads to arrest of Evansville man.

On March 10, 2018, at 4:51 p.m. Deputy U.B. Smith conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of South Main Street of Princeton on a Black 2003 Chevy Passenger car after observing 20 year old Tyler Craig of Evansville, a suspended driver driving the vehicle. Deputy Smith summoned Deputy Austin Farrington to the scene and began a roadside investigation. At the conclusion of the investigation Mr. Craig was written a citation for Driving While Suspended on an Infraction. He was then transported by Deputy Farrington to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Possession of Paraphernalia. Mr. Craig has since posted a $450 bond. Additional charges have been forwarded to the prosecutor’s office on a juvenile who was found in possession of Marijuana.

Assisting Deputy Farrington in his investigation was Deputy U.B. Smith and Princeton Officers Jason Swan and Lincoln Edwards.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
