Vehicle Weight limit restrictions starting 
WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS
This is to advise your department that the seasonal weight limit restrictions will be placed on Wood County Trunk Highways and are enforceable beginning Wednesday, March 14th, 2018 starting on the south end going north. All signs should be up by the end of the day on Thursday, March 15th, 2018.
“TEMPORARY” WEIGHT LIMITS on COUNTY TRUNK HIGHWAYS in WOOD COUNTY will become effective upon posting of such signs as authorized by Chapter 349.16 of the WISCONSIN STATUTES. Miles posted are expected to be the same as in 2017. These SEASONAL WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS will be:
• Six [6] Tons Gross Vehicle Weight for single axle vehicles,
• Ten [10] Tons Gross Vehicle Weight for tandem axle vehicles,
• A maximum of 24 Tons Gross Vehicle Weight for all others.
