Advisory

Winter Weather Advisory and a current update of roadway conditions throughout the township.

There is a threat of snow later tonight into tomorrow morning. While some forecasts are calling for a coating to an inch, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Advisory for 2 - 4 inches of snow. If the higher totals are achieved, residents are reminded that no parking on Snow emergency Streets will be in effect, if roads become snow covered.

Please use caution while driving during Tuesday morning's commute for slippery road conditions and/or reduced visibilities. Winds will increase during Tuesday to between 15 and 30 miles per hour, which could cause weakened branches to fall.

The only current road issues are as follows: Adams Lane westbound at the Route # 130 intersection has a lane reduction just before the intersection due to a tree leaning over the roadway. Clinton Road also has two low hanging wires, that are passable to cars. All other township roadways are passable. There may be additional issues due to the predicted snow for tomorrow, please use caution when driving tomorrow.

All most all power has been restored within the township there are only 6 more customers with power outages according to Public Service Electric.
