Update as of 1:55 p.m. We have detained one juvenile suspect at a residence within the search area. We have also completed the area search; officers and detectives will be following up on leads to identify and arrest the other suspect. No further updates are anticipated for today as the investigation continues.

Officers are in the area of Ventura Avenue and Park Boulevard searching for two suspects who fled on foot from a car stop. We have since learned the vehicle had been reported stolen.
We have a police helicopter from the California Highway Patrol enroute to assist our officers in locating the two suspects.
An initial description of one of the suspects was a male in his twenties with his hair in a bun.
