9pm Power Update from JCPL, 33 households remain out of power
JCPL has notified Monroe officials that power has been restored to several hundred residents as of this hour with only 33 customers left without service.
MTPD confirm that linemen are still working in the township tonight to reconnect these remaining residents. Officials will continue to press the utility to prioritize these customers, many of whom are on well and septic.
For those who need a Warming or Charging Station overnight tonight, the lobby of the MTPD Headquarters at 3 Municipal Plaza will be available until 10am tomorrow. MT Library will re-open at 10am tomorrow.
Any resident without power who requires further assistance should call the MTPD non-emergency line at 732-521-0222.
Township will continue to provide updates as information becomes available tonight.
JCP&L Storm Update – Evening of March 9, 2018
JCP&L line crews worked today to continue to address safety hazards and open roads thru out our Central New Jersey service territory. JCP&L restored power to 37,000 of the 40,000 customers affected by March 7 storm Quinn.
JCP&L Line crews will continue to work around the clock to restore power to all customers. The global estimated time of restoration for Central New Jersey Customers is Sunday March 11.
