Warming Center available - Additional resources being deployed

A number of locations in and around the City of Middletown remain without power.  Orange and Rockland officials have assured us that they have multiple crews working on the issues, and will have power restored as soon as possible.  In an effort to assist those individuals without power, the Mulberry House Senior Center (located at 62-70 West Main Street in Middletown) has been opened up as a warming center and charging location.

The Middletown Police Department has deployed officers into those neighborhoods hardest hit, offering assistance and checking in on residents.  We encourage anyone who might need assistance to contact the police department at 845-343-3151, as we have staff available 24 hours per day.   Additionally, we would ask that individuals reach out for family, friends, the elderly, or those with special needs to ensure that they have adequate resources.  The City of Middletown is happy to provide any help necessary to ensure the safety of our community during this time.  Additional updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
