Advisory
South Brunswick Office of Emergency Management has rescinded our local State of Emergency as of 9:30am. Things have returned to somewhat normal for the majority of the Township. Two of the major ongoing issues are the lack of power for nearly 250 homes according to PSEG, and New Road remains completely blocked between Route 1 and Wheeler Road. The municipal building and the Library can be used as warming centers Friday for anyone needing some heat or to charge electronic devices.
Public work crews continue to clear trees from roads and public areas. Board of Education crews are working to clear trees from school properties. There are PSEG crews working around the Township to restore full power.
