7PM THURSDAY MARCH 8TH - WINTER STORM IMPACT
A State of Emergency remains in effect in South Brunswick and more than 2,000 homes are still without power. The conditions on the roadways are continuing to improve with Route 1, Route 27, and Route 130 all passable.
Some traffic issues on local streets are still an issue with trees and wires down. Public work crews continue to work around the clock to remove downed trees and clear roads of snow.
All South Brunswick Public Schools and Township Offices will be OPEN tomorrow, Friday March 9th. Motorists are advised to reduce speeds and allow extra time for their morning commute.
Anyone that needs the warming center or charging station you can utilize South Brunswick PD Headquarters (540 Ridge Road, Monmouth Jct.).
