Watchung Public Works has been out around the clock to clear roadways of trees and snow.  If trees are touching wires they cannot be worked on until the power company has checked them and given the go ahead to do so.  Please do not go out unless absolutely necessary because if you get stuck and require assistance it depletes our resources and takes them away from the enormous task at hand.  Please be patient as we continue to clean up from this storm, and check on the welfare of friends and neighbors until power can be restored and all roadways can be reopened.
