Yesterday’s storm resulted in numerous downed power lines, many of which are live wires that present electrocution hazards. This is a regional problem and it is not known when PSE&G will be able to address issues in the Borough of Middlesex. Stay clear of any and all downed or low-hanging wires. Treat all wires as live wires. Educate children about these dangers. Also, make sure that pets are safe and keep them clear of downed wires.
