On 03/07/18 the Frankfort Police Department responded to vehicle break-ins at a business in the 10300 block of Lincoln Highway.  The suspect was able to grab purses left in the vehicles.  We want to remind you to always lock your vehicle doors and do not leave your valuables inside of your vehicle. 

The Frankfort Police Department has been made aware of various vehicle break-ins in the Lincoln-Way and surrounding areas over the past few days.  It appears the offenders are looking for places a person may leave valuables in their vehicles, such as a gym, daycare, dry cleaners, etc. and quickly grabbing valuables from the vehicle after the occupants exit.  Remember even if you are just going into a location for a brief amount of time, you should not leave your vehicle on or unsecured.  If you must leave an item inside make sure it is out of view..  Also, never leave your key or key fob in your vehicle.

The Frankfort Police Department reminds citizens to take extra precautions to reduce opportunistic vehicle burglaries.  Please report any suspicious persons, vehicles, or circumstances to the police as soon as they occur.  If you see something, say something.

Matter of Balance Class
The Frankfort Police Department will be hosting a Matter of Balance Class starting March 30^th at the Frankfort Police Department.  This eight week class meets every Friday from 1-3pm.  A matter of balance is an award-winning program for anyone concerned about falls.  This class will help to increase balance, flexibility, strength, and give you fall prevention strategies.  To register for this free class please contact Sergeant Bender at (815)469-9435.  Space is limited.
