One Injured in Jefferson Township Crash
Cass County Sheriff Richard Behnke reports that on 3/7/2018 at about 7:28 A.m. his Office responded to a single vehicle rollover accident in the 66000 block of M62 in Jefferson Township.
19-year-old Courtney Houser of Edwardsburg was northbound on M 62 when she lost control of her vehicle on the icy road. She exited the roadway and rolled 4 or 5 times according to a witness. Pride Care Ambulance transported Houser to Saint Joseph Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
Houser was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash and alcohol was not a factor in the accident. It remains under investigation.
