Good Tuesday morning! The following are calls for service and activities for the Sheriff’s Office for Monday, 3/5/18.

-Kelly Rd at West Houston, Levelland: Vehicle Crash. Deputies responded to a single vehicle crash north of the intersection. Troopers responded to the scene to conduct the crash investigation.

-6600 blk Elk Rd, Smyer: Recover Stolen Vehicle. Deputies were dispatched to the area related to a vehicle parked along the roadway. The vehicle was checked and returned as having been stolen in Lubbock. Lubbock agencies were notified and the vehicle was towed form the area.

-FM 1490 at Holland Rd, Levelland: Theft. Deputies responded to the area related to a theft of copper from a pivot. Initial information was collected for a report.

-800 blk Hwy 385, Levelland: Disturbance. Deputies were dispatched to a reported disturbance at a residence. Neither party reported any offenses and if was reported as verbal only. Parties were separated and information was collected.

-200 blk Nabors, Ropesville: Disturbance. Deputies responded to a reported verbal disturbance at a residence. Parties advised the issue was verbal only and no offense was reported. Information was collected to document the incident.

Deputies also conducted close patrols/vacation watches, patrols in all areas of the county, investigative follow-up activities, and civil process service.

Jail population as of 3/6/18 at 0800 hours: 58 in Hockley County, 3 to be processed, 3 out of county.
