The Yorktown Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) continues to operate a warming/charging center for all Yorktown Residents at the Yorktown Community Cultural Center located at 1974 Commerce St. (in the rear by the track/theater). All residents are welcome to stop by, warm up and charge electronic devices.

CERT will also continue an overnight shelter at the same location from 8:00 pm until 8:00 am for any Yorktown resident who needs a warm place to sleep tonight. ID is required and unfortunately no pets are allowed. While the doors are officially locked at 8:00 pm, we will not turn away cold residents who show up after the 8:00 pm mark.
