Many have liken the team work between the Clayton County Police and the Sheriff’s Office to tag team wrestling as they work daily to  “sandwich” criminals between the agencies for optimal crime fighting.

Yesterday, Clayton County Police & The Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary in progress on Paladin Dr in Hampton.  A female who was home alone was startled when her her door was kicked in by four male suspects.  The female fled to her garage and hid under her car while dialing 911.  The suspects went through her home and even came out to the garage and went through her car unaware that she was under the car with a open 911 line.   The suspects left the house and got into a stolen black Infinity to flee the scene.

While the female victim was on the phone with E911, both the County Police and the Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to respond and they both came with the speed of light.   As Deputies and Officers responded, a PD Officer passed the suspected vehicle which took off.  Visual was loss on the suspected vehicle, but it was soon located by the Officer abandoned and confirmed stolen.   K-9’s from both agencies began tracking the suspects and within an hour, all 4 of them were found in a wooded area and arrested without further incident.   All four suspects are now enjoying their stay at the “Hill ton” where they are now facing the wall at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail.
