1 injured in crash





Sheriff Richard Behnke reports that on 3/3/18 at 1251 hours his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash that occurred on Robinson Rd, South of Cemetery St in Jefferson Township, Cass County Michigan. 62 yr old Cassopolis resident, David Szczypski, was operating when he went off the roadway into the trees. He was transport to Borgess Lee Hospital in Dowagiac for treatment. Seat Belt use is unknown and alcohol may have been a factor. This case remains under investigation.
