The Town of Yorktown will be opening a warming center today (Saturday, March 3rd) at 12:00 PM. The warming center will be located at the Yorktown Community Cultural Center, 1974 Commerce Street, Yorktown Heights, NY. At this time, the warming center is committed to remain open until 8:00 PM. Updates will be provided as needed. Please enter through the Veterans Road (Yorktown Stage / Gymnasium) entrance to use the facility. If you need to use the warming center, that is considered "necessary travel" and would not be in conflict with the current State of Emergency that exists in the Town of Yorktown. Please use extreme caution if driving. Multiple roadways have detours and / or are partially closed. Traffic signals are inoperable on the Route 6 corridor.
