Message from your City of San Mateo Pubic Works Department regarding potential sewer overflows in the area of the Dale Avenue Pump Station located near the area of 1025 Patricia, due to a pump outage.
Emergency Crews are working on the outage and are advising residents that there is a potential for some sewage overflow from the man-hole covers in the streets surrounding that area. Note that there may also be a few manholes covers in residential back yard easements in and around that area, and residents are asked to use caution especially with pets and small children until further notice.
If you note any sewer overflows please contact SMPD dispatch at (650) 522-7700 to report the location of the overflow and Public Works crews will respond for any necessary clean-up. We will update you once the situation has been resolved.
