High Winds – Dozens of trees have fallen
Numerous trees have fallen on roads, wires, vehicles, and houses throughout the Township. No injuries have been reported but several roads remain closed. PSE&G reports several isolated power outages as a result of the fallen trees.
ROAD CLOSURES
- Fresh Ponds Road – CLOSED - Several poles have snapped. Closed from Selma Drive to Deans Rhode Hall Rd.
- Dey Road – CLOSED – Several poles snapped. Closed at Rt 130
- Broadway Road (near Rowland Park) – CLOSED
- Norton Road - pole down
- Old Road - CLOSED
CANCELLED EVENTS –
South Brunswick Jazz Concert at Senior Center is cancelled.
South Brunswick Arts Reception at Municipal Building is cancelled.
All activities at St. Cecilia Church on Kingston Lane for Friday night have been cancelled.
