Shuntoris Cole arrested 2:30 a.m., March 2 for the Feb. 17 homicide of Tevin Murrell. Charged w/ 2nd Degree Murder
On March 2 at approximately 2:30 a.m., the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Shuntoris Deonte Cole, age 23, at 236 Elm Street in Jackson, TN. Cole was wanted by the Jackson Police Department for Second-Degree Murder, where victim Tevin Murrell was shot on Georgian Cove on Feb. 17 and died from his injuries. Cole also had an active probation violation warrant, which was issued in August of last year.
Cole is expected to be arraigned at 8 a.m., March 5 in Jackson City Court.
The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force is comprised of officers from the Jackson Police Department, Tennessee Department of Corrections and U.S. Marshals Service. Cole was transported to the Madison County Jail where he awaits court proceedings.
