DEARBORN, Mich. – The City of Dearborn has declared a snow emergency effective at 9 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018.
As of 9 p.m. Thursday, March 1, all parked vehicles must be removed from Dearborn streets to allow for safe and efficient snowplowing.  Parked vehicles will be ticketed. Tickets are $80.
Outdoor warning sirens will sound at 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Thursday, March 1 announcing the snow emergency. The snow emergency remains in effect until further notice.
To assist residents who live in neighborhoods where there are few if any driveways, the city has created special snow emergency parking areas where cars can be moved to. For maps and a list of streets where parking is allowed, visit http://cityofdearborn.org/services/public-works/snow-removal
Residents are also allowed to use the parking lots of city parks without penalty during a snow emergency.
