* WINDS...Northwest 20 to 30 mph with the potential for gusts of 50 to 60 mph.
* TIMING...Strong winds with gusts of 40 to 50 mph develop toward midday Friday. The potential for peak gusts up to 60 mph are possible from mid afternoon to late evening Friday. Winds will gradually diminish late Friday night.
* IMPACTS...Saturated soils will enhance the potential for high winds to blow down trees and power lines. Scattered power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
