Udate: HCSO investigators say both men wanted for Uber driver robbery in custody.

Harris County Sheriff’s Robbery investigators are releasing the names of both men now in custody for the robbery of a local Uber driver.
Investigators say that Tyler Austin Hood,18, and James Neal Romine, 19, are the two men seen on video robbing the female complainant.

On Wednesday, February 14, 2108 at 12:50 A.M. a 51 year old female had dropped off a fare in 17700 block of Timber Forest drive and Eagle Springs Parkway in north east Harris County.

The woman said that a dark colored four door Toyota Four Runner pulled in front of her vehicle and blocked her from leaving.

Two men now identified as Tyler Hood and James Romine exited the Toyota, Romine was armed with a hand gun. They walked to her vehicle and demanded money and valuables.

They forced the driver door open and grabbed her purse; they then ran back to the Toyota, then shot at her vehicle before speeding away.

The female was unhurt in the ordeal.

Tyler Hood is currently being held in the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office detention center

James Romine was taken into custody this morning Wednesday February 28, 2108 by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team on other charges.
