...POTENTIALLY DAMAGING WINDS ARE EXPECTED FRIDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT... .Low pressure will intensify over the Northeast coast on Friday. This will bring strong to potentially damaging northwest winds to the region Friday and Friday night. ...HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING... The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a High Wind Watch, which is in effect from Friday morning through Saturday morning.

* WINDS...Northwest 25 to 35 mph with 50 to 60 mph gusts.

* TIMING...Strong winds develop over the Delmarva Friday morning, and then increase over southern and coastal New Jersey through the day. The strongest winds are expected Friday evening, and winds will gradually diminish through Friday night.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees, and power lines. Scattered power outages are expected.
