CGPD/ECPO Investigation at CG Memorial School, there is no danger to the students or staff,no arrests have been made. 
The Cedar Grove Police Department and the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office are currently investigating a concerning statement made on social media by a Cedar Grove Memorial Middle School student. I would like to affirm that there is no danger to the students or staff. There have been no arrests and the incident remains under investigation. This matter is being taken very seriously and a thorough investigation is being conducted. We will continue to work closely with the Cedar Grove Board of Education in order to maintain the safety of all students and staff.
