In the early afternoon of February 21st, Officers were dispatched to a reported burglary that had just taken place to a home on North Oaks Boulevard, with the suspect running from the scene after being confronted. Units arrived in short order, searched the area, collected evidence, and began narrowing their search. An individual that matched the suspects description was later seen entering a nearly unit. Upon responding to that location, Detectives were eventually able to make contact with the residents, and one was ID'ed and taken into custody as the burglar from earlier. Arrested was Mr. LaPatrick Turner, 52, of North Brunswick. Mr. Turner was charged with Burglary, robbery, and theft. The burglary proceeds were also recovered and returned to the rightful owner. Turner was taken to the Middlesex County Department of Corrections pending Court.
