Incident: Possession of Burglary Tools Arrest
Location of Incident: 5900 block of Vallejo St. Emeryville, CA
Date/Time Occurred: Incident Case Number: February 25, 2018, 3:26 AM, 1802-1950

Narrative: An alert citizen called the police to report seeing two suspects casing cars on the 5900 block of Vallejo St. The suspects were checking the car door handles and looking into cars with flashlights. Officers arrived immediately on scene. An officer made an investigative stop on two subjects at 59th and Marshall St.

The two subjects that the police stopped matched the description of the suspects. Name checks on the detained subjects revealed that they were both on probation for burglary with search clauses. A probation search on both subjects revealed they were in possession of burglary tools, (screwdriver, flashlights and other tools).

The subjects were placed under arrest for possession of burglary tools and probation violations. The subjects were identified as Antonio Grajeda and Vanderrick Vickers.

This was the second arrest that night made by Emeryville Police officers after alert citizens called the Police Department when they noticed suspicious activity.
