Synopsis: A 72 year old male was standing in the street at 8300 La Media Rd. He was next to his disabled 1980 black Honda motorcycle working on the sparkplugs. A 54 year old male was driving a large gray truck and 50 foot trailer eastbound on the 905. The truck took the La Media Rd exit and turned southbound onto La Media Rd. It made an unsafe move to the right and struck the pedestrian. The pedestrian was run over and sustained fatal injuries. The truck remained at the scene. He was appropriately licensed. No DUI. San Diego Police Traffic Division is investigating.

Synopsis: A black male suspect entered the 7-11 with a gun in his hand and demanded money from the employee. The suspect took an unknown amount of money and left the store. The suspect was last seen running westbound to College Ave. A short time later police found the suspect at 6300 Newsome Dr and arrested him. The gun turned out to be a BB gun and was recovered along with the money. The suspect is 20 year old Dante Bahena. San Diego Police Robbery Detectives are investigating.

Synopsis: A 29 year old male victim walked up to his locked truck and began to unlock it. An unknown Hispanic male suspect walked up behind the victim and stuck something cold against the back of his head and demanded the car keys while speaking Spanish. The victim gave the keys to the suspect. The suspect got into the victim's truck and drove away. He was last seen on 9500 Customhouse Plz. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male wearing a dark knit cap and dark clothes. The truck is a white 2006 Ford F150 with Ca plate 63329W1. It also had black rims. San Diego Police Robbery Detectives are investigating.
