Synopsis: A White or Hispanic male entered the 7-11 convenience store and confronted the clerk. The suspect was holding a metal bar in his hand. He threatened the clerk with the metal bar and demanded the money from the cash register. The clerk complied and the suspect took the money from the register. The suspect fled the store and was last seen leaving the area northbound on Iowa Ave. The suspect was described as a White or Hispanic male in his late twenties or early thirties, about 5'10" tall, with a thin build. His face was covered with a black mask. He was wearing a light blue SD Chargers hooded sweatshirt, jeans and orange shoes. Robbery Detectives responded to the scene and will be handling the investigation.
