Beginning Monday morning, February 26, 2018, the eastbound lane of Sample Road (just west of Lighthouse Drive) will be closed to vehicular traffic for up to six (6) full days and nights for a sewer pipe repair. A detour will be set up directing traffic around the construction area.
Motorists traveling eastbound on Sample Road from US1 (and the surrounding neighborhood) will be detoured north along NE 21st Way (behind the Publix Shopping Center). The detour will then take traffic east along NE 38th St., to NE 23rd Avenue (Lighthouse Drive), where you can then travel north or south bound.
Lighthouse Drive will remain open to all north and south bound traffic. Sample Road (east of Lighthouse Drive) will also remain open to east and west bound traffic. The entire westbound lane of Sample Road will also remain open throughout the construction project.
PLEASE NOTE that only those residents who live along Sample Road (between NE 21st Way and Lighthouse Drive), and those who are going to patronize the businesses in that area will have local traffic access.
