Sachse Road has been closed again due to rising water levels. With the heavy rains water has again covered Sachse Road and all through traffic has been diverted. Please try to plan ahead, avoid the area and look for alternate routes.

Merritt Road between Lacey and Hudson remains covered with a significant amount of water. Merritt Road will remain closed for an indefinite amount of time. We will continue to monitor the roadways throughout the city as we continue to receive more rain to the area. In the meantime please find alternate routes around Merritt Road. Miles Road and State Highway 78 remain the most direct routes to access the President George Bush Turnpike.
