Career criminal, Dale Yaeger arrested for transportation and possession of methamphetamine for sale

SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at approximately 3:35 pm, deputies from the Highland Police Department were investigating a stolen vehicle at the location. A citizen witness flagged down Deputy Jon Ramstad and told him he witnessed a “hand to hand” drug transaction nearby. The witness described the vehicle and direction of travel.
Deputy Ramstad located the vehicle at Baseline and Osbun and contacted the driver, Dale YEAGER. When YEAGER’S vehicle was searched, a dummy aerosol can was found that had a hidden compartment. Inside the compartment were 22 grams of methamphetamine, all packaged for sales.
Dale YEAGER is a career criminal and is currently on AB109 PRCS Felony Probation for PC459, Burglary and HS11378 Possession of Controlled Substances for Sale. As a part of Governor Jerry Brown’s Realignment Plan, or Assembly Bill 109, to comply with a U.S. Supreme Court decision requiring the state to lower its prison population by 30,000; offenders with non-violent, non-sexual and non-serious convictions will serve reduced sentences in county jails and be placed on local supervision through county Probation. This is YEAGER’S fourth PRCS booking violation since 2013.
