Earlier today, the Montebello Police Department and the Montebello Unified School District Police Department were contacted regarding a concerning social media post. Both police departments worked together to investigate the post and determined there is no credible threats to Schurr High School or any other Montebello Unified School. Further investigation revealed the post has been spread to several other school districts without specifically naming a school. The investigation is ongoing. Both the Montebello Police Department and MUSD Police Department will be conducting extra patrols of our school campuses.
